Spend more time with God.

Hello beautiful people!

I hope that you are all well and that this message will find you doing amazing.

Today I am going to talk about the importance of the time that we must devote to the Lord and I will also try to give you some tips that I use daily to help me every day in my intimacy with the Lord.

It is crucial that each of us take time every day for the Lord. It is very important that we can create intimacy with God. It is by spending time with a person that we will know them well and it is the same with God. The more you spend time with Him, the better you know Him. To spend time with God is to speak to Him but it is also to listen to Him. The Bible says that when we go to God, He too comes to us. It is something to do absolutely every day because the goodness of the Lord do not run out, they are renewed every morning. And every day our most important desire should be to have a better relationship with our God.

Personally, it is a vital need for me to spend time with God EVERY DAY. It’s a like a car that needs fuel to run, I need my time with God to recharge my batteries. I need to know what he’s saying to me, I need to talk to him, I need to praise him, I just need to have him close to me every day. Everyday I have a special routine with God no matter what.

Here are some tips you can use:

– The first advice I have is to start now. Do not procrastinate. Do not say that you plan to do it after a certain season or when you are ready. God wants a relationship with you now.

– Second, pray. Pray, pray, pray. Not just 5 seconds before sleeping, pray !!! I don’t think I’ll say it enough. The Bible asks us to pray unceasingly. Praying is your moment of audible communication with God. Speak with God as if you were talking to your best friend. You can tell Him about your day, your problems, ask for forgiveness, tell Him your needs and thank Him for what He does for you.

-Read your Bible !!! It will really help you to strengthen your faith and help you listen to God because the Bible is the word of God. “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Romans 10:17). And for those who still have a hard time understanding God and listening to Him, reading your Bible daily is a great way to start hearing Him speak to you.

– After reading your Bible, make a little diary. You can write what you understand, what you have a hard time understanding and what you have learned.

– After the Bible and the journal, meditate. This is where El Shalom, the God of Peace, is revealed to you. Meditation brings you inner peace. Take a moment of calm to assimilate your reading, and know how to apply it in your daily life.

-Take time to worship. It’s personally one of my favorite moments of the day. During worship, you get to lift God up and to thank Him. I get to express how much I love Him, adore Him. I get to tell God how much I admire Him and I am in awe of Him. And God seeks true worshipers, those who worship in Spirit and in truth.

-Have godly friendships. Find people that want to know God and serve him just as much as you do. They will help you grow in Christ. It’s very important to surround yourself with people who have the same vision as you. “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend” (Proverbs 27:17).

Finally, you don’t need to start with 40 minutes. It can just start with 5 minutes and every day your desire will be greater and your relationship with your God will be stronger. Make it a habit, do it every day. “Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! “(1 Corinthians 16:11). I hope that these few tips will help you and I pray that the presence of God is evident in your lives.

May the Lord reveal himself to you and may He bless you.
